The 5 experts you need to help your business grow

Expertise is a word some of us shy away from, however when you are wanting to open a supported living business, I believe it is necessary to drawn on experts to help us in the areas we cannot manage effectively. In other words, we recognise that we are a bit rubbish at some stuff!

Entrepreneurs are good at a lot of things, but we are not good at everything!

What is an “Expert”?

Dictionary definition: a) a person who is very knowledgeable about or skilful in a particular area OR   b) having or involving a great deal of knowledge or skill in a particular area

I am sure some of you can think of many more experts whom we could add to our “team” of helpers but for now let’s take a look at the following five:

  1. Marketing expert – Marketing is an essential part of business growth and there are many ways this can be done. The question is, does your current marketing plan fit your business?
  2. Branding expert- The one who understands how powerful branding can be and will show you how to get the message of who you are across to the masses!
  3. Business coach or mentor - Someone who knows more than you about business and how to effectively develop it. Don’t let your ego get in the way of reaching out!
  4. Financial expert – Otherwise known as an accountant who can give both sound advice as well as do the number crunching
  5. You! - Bet that took you by surprise! Well, you are offering a service to the public and don’t we like to buy from experts when the opportunity arises?

“How much will this cost Angela?” I hear you ask!

My response is “What will it cost you, if you don’t get the support you need?” It may cost you a little or a lot everything is relevant, either way, consider whatever you pay as an investment into your business for long term growth. Why? Because….

It’s time to make that shift!
